Textured Cardstock

Our sturdy Textured Cardstock is textured on both sides, and the back side is a lighter shade so you really have two colors to work with! Currently available in an Autumn Harvest combo pack, a Winter Cozy combo pack, Spring Harmony, and a White Daisy pack, our Textured Cardstock has a white core which shows through for added interest when sanding or scissor-distressing your paper.

Tips and Ideas for Using Textured Cardstock:

1. Sand both sides to allow white core to show through and get different look with two colors
2. Crinkle the paper
3. Tear the paper
4. Cover a Dimensional Element with it
5. Curl the edges for a weathered look
6. Use the stipple brush to create texture shadows
7. Using VersaMark^® ink with colored chalk on White Daisy Textured CS makes the grooves pop!
8. Ink may stay wet a bit longer on the colored Textured CS
9. Try printing a photo on the CS
10. Try dry embossing

Tips and Ideas for Using StickStock:
1. Use the craft heater for faster drying
2. Print on it in your home printer
3. Use the vellum for journaling
4. Print a photo on it
5. Fray the edges
6. Wrap a Dimensional Element with linen or twill
7. When printing on StickStock Vellum, be careful to make sure you are printing on the correct side. Because the vellum is see through, it can be difficult to tell which side is the front and which side is the backing.
8. When printing on StickStock Twill, you need to adjust your printer settings. See the instructions that come with your StickStock for further printing directions.

Printing Pictures

Everyone has a place they like to have pictures printed, Costco, CVS, Walgreen's, Wal-mart, Snapfish or winkflash to just name a few. Over the years I have used many different ones. I can not say one is better than another. But recently I found Wolf/Ritz because they do 6x6's for 49 Cents. I can not print a 8x10 for that price and cut it down. My Acrylix™ Care and Cleaning

My Acrylix™ Care and Cleaning: As part of our My Acrylix durability studies we've done extensive research on the best ways to clean and care for our new stamps and mounting blocks. For best results, we recommend the following:

1. Clean your stamps (and the block if needed) immediately after use. The longer ink remains, the more difficult it will be to remove. (Pigment inks such as Close To My Heart Archival Ink and Staz On will permanently discolor the stamp image. As was the case with rubber, you will also notice that over time darker inks like reds and purples will also cause some discoloration.)
2. 
   Use My Acrylix Spritz or Stamp Cleaner and the Double Scrubber for regular cleaning. These products are the most effective at removing residual ink, and will not damage My Acrylix regardless of use. We recommend cleaning the stamps while still on the blocks. (Wash your Double Scrubber pads in the dishwasher to remove excess fibers.)
3. 
   Use soap and water to restore tack. Dust, dirt, and oils may cause your stamps to become less sticky over time. If you find they seem less adhesive, simply wash the stamps with dish soap and water to restore their original "stick." (Continual use of soap and water will eventually cause a build-up. We recommend using this method occasionally, only as needed.)
4. 
   Use alcohol to remove residue. If you notice a residue on the back of your stamps, rub them with alcohol using a non-abrasive, fiber free cloth. DO NOT USE ALCOHOL ON MY ACRYLIX BLOCKS. (Extensive use of alcohol is not recommended. Use this method occasionally, only as needed.)
